Designed for kids 12 months and older, the Scamp II comes in both a MIPS and non-MIPS version.

The Scamp II is Giro's smallest helmet designed for young riders, but it still goes big with features and style. This lightweight in-mold helmet features impact-dissipating EPS foam with a sturdy polycarbonate shell, plus 13 vents for efficient cooling power. The Roc Loc® Junior fit system provides extra adjustability with a simple-to-use dial for several years of head protection for fast-growing rippers. Whether they're riding shotgun with you, or ripping on their balance bike, Scamp II is going to make kids want more bike time.

Designed for kids 12 months and older, the Scamp II comes in both a MIPS and non-MIPS version — perfect for young riders just starting out or growing into bigger adventures.

Hardshell with In-Mold Hardbody™ Lower Wrap

The two-piece shell combines a tough outer hard shell with a polycarbonate lower shell permanently fused to the liner for durability without excess weight.

Roc Loc® Jr. Fit System

A simple, durable, dial fit system specifically shaped to match the curvature of a child's head. Developed with years of research into anatomic data to ensure a secure, comfortable fit. A large, rubberized knob makes it easy for adults to adjust the helmet for proper tension, allowing kids to quickly start their ride.

Mips® Evolve Core (Scamp Mips II model only)

Giro's Mips®-equipped helmets are designed to reduce rotational forces that may be transferred to the rider's brain in certain impacts, while meeting and exceeding stringent safety standards.

Fit & sizing

Designed for head circumferences of 45–51cm (XS), suitable for riders aged 12 months and older. The Small size suits riders aged 5 and older. Use the Roc Loc® Jr. dial at the back of the helmet to fine-tune fit as your child grows.

Care

Wipe the shell with a damp cloth and mild soap — avoid solvents, petroleum-based cleaners, or harsh detergents that can compromise the EPS liner. Air dry out of direct sunlight.
