DESCRIPTION

Tow ropes are an essential piece of kit for any MTB family – you’ll take the hassle out of hill climbs and enjoy bigger family rides together. With the kids hip pack included, your mini mountain biker will be ready for any adventure – big or small.

The tow rope is designed to give a gentle pull, avoiding jerking on take-off, for a comfortable tow uphill.

One size fits all

With a load rating of 500lb / 225kg, our tow rope is suitable for mini shredders and adults alike. And with adjustability to fit waists: 38cm / 15” (min) to 110cm / 43” (max), our hip pack is designed for kids aged 3+ years.

        FAQ's

        Is the tow rope safe for use on dropper posts?
        The majority of our customers use their tow rope on dropper posts and we aren’t aware of any issues. To minimise wear and tear on your seat post you should remain seated when towing.

        Is the tow rope safe to use with e-bikes? 
        We’re aware of many customers using their tow ropes with Ebikes and we haven’t heard of any issue to date. To minimise load on the Ebike motor we recommend the person being towed is also pedalling.

        What age is the tow rope suitable for?
        The shotgun tow rope is designed with kids in mind, but it’s suitable for adults too – as it’s rated to 500lb / 225kg. For kids, we’ve found that the tow rope works best once they’re confidently riding a balance bike or pedal bike themselves.

          Get amongst it 👊👊👊

          Shotgun seat has survived 2 kids now. With the youngest little shredder now moved onto Tow rope for the uphill and shredding the downs

          Great quality, best cycle buy for bike families

          Recently did the Devon coast to coast ride with a group of friends and my 9 year old daughter. 108miles and used the tow rope for 15 to 20miles. Made a huge difference on some of the steepest climbs and when I needed to keep her speed up on a busy section. Have done a number of long distance rides with her but the tow rope has been a real game changer, I no longer have to push two bikes loaded with camping kit up a steep hills, and she feels like she’s done more of the riding. Helped keep the group together. Best cycle buy I’ve ever made
